New Curriculum
We loved our Jesus storybook Bible curriculum, but we finished it in January. Starting in February our kids are starting what is called the Orange Curriculum. This has a monthly worship song, memory verse, and overall theme. The month of February’s theme is Respect. This program facilitates learning through play and movement. Please pray for our teachers and children, that this be a good fit for our children’s program.
Youth Winter Retreat
This February 17-19th, the youth will be going to SIFAT, Servants in Faith and Technology in Lineville, Alabama. SIFAT’s “goal is to help people from different countries, cultures and social classes understand each other and work together, so that every person can have a chance to develop into the person God intends for each to be” (Sifat.org). We will be engaging in the global village experience, where we will spend the night in a replica of a village and live just as those of that culture live. We hope that our youth will develop a deeper understanding of others, as well as how to serve one another and the community. There are still spots open for this trip, and we are also in need of another chaperone. Please contact Abby Bennett if you are interested.
